St Mary Magdalene Chapel

Heritage Open Day: Remains of 12th Century leper chapel The Chapel of St Mary Magdalene is in the Victorian gardens for Hillfield House. It is the remains of a 12th century leper chapel. It contains a stone recumbent figure which some people believe to be the effigy of St Kyneburgh..

It can be visited as part of Hillfield Gardens Walk Friday 13th September 14.00 and Saturday 14th September 10.30.
