Heritage Open Day: ‘MUSEUM OF BRIERLEY HILL†- the library's historic town artefacts, maps and photos PLUS bring your own artefacts to be researched and securely displayed PLUS Record your memories of the town for future generations to hear in the MEMORY BANK MUSEUM OF BRIERLEY HILL - An opportunity to view the historic artefacts and maps held by the library PLUS a chance to have your share your own objects in a secure display.
Learn about the Nine Lock’s Pit Miracle; find out how the town raised money to buy a spitfire; find where your home is on the historic maps.
MEMORY BANK - Become part of Brierley Hill’s historical record! We are keen to collect memories of the town through our oral history project. Come along and record YOUR memories. These will be stored in the archives for future generations to here our voices.
