Monumental Women Tour of Worcester Cathedral

Heritage Open Day: Worcester Cathedral is filled with the times and lives of Monumental Women, from artists, writers, and musicians to maternal rights activists, powerful medieval Queens, and influential figures in the history of Christianity, spanning over 1400 years. A guided tour of the women connected to, and memorialised at, Worcester Cathedral. The Monumental women tour is a guided tour around the Cathedral that lasts approximately an hour and is given by one of our Cathedral tour guides.
Worcester Cathedral is one of England's loveliest cathedrals. It stands majestically overlooking the River Severn, close to the city centre. It has been a place of prayer and worship for fourteen centuries. The Cathedral's attractions include royal tombs, Norman Crypt, medieval cloisters, magnificent Victorian stained glass and examples of every period of early English architecture from 11th to late 14th Century.
