Last year Ahmed Ahmed performed in London at the Legendary Leicester theatre for 400 people and this year is touring in other cities in the UK and the Gulf for his latest special Islamophobia It Only Takes One of Us
Ahmed, 54, is a dual-national Comedian who lives in LA.
Ahmed started his acting career at the age of 19.
Ahmed’s parents left Helwan, Egypt for Riverside, USA in 1970 when he was one month old.
His father pumped gas at Shell for $1.75 an hour, eventually purchasing the station. His mother stayed home with six kids.
After several years of being typecast as terrorists and cabdrivers, he decided to shift into stand-up comedy to have a voice.
He is an internationally touring comedian and has been in the comedy business for 30 years. He’s also the co-founder of the groundbreaking Axis Of Evil Comedy Tour which aired on Comedy Central and later went on to make history taking that tour all around the Middle East performing for over 20,000 people.
