Collagraph handpulled printing
2 Day Collagraph printing workshop in the pretty village of Botolph Bucks MK18 2LP
Join a small group of students ( no experienced needed in printmaking or art) on a wonderful exploration of Collagraph printing with experienced teacher and artist Kim Major-George.
Day one :student create their printing plate using many different textured materials cutting, layering ,melting the many different products in this workshop. ( all supplied by Kim)
Day 2 : each student - after another extensive demonstration by Kim , uses their printing plate to load with ink, burnish back and print on Kim's traditional press.
All materials provided all you have to bring is rubber gloves/ apron, packlunch ,& babywipes.
I run these classes 4 times a year and students come back many times to have a wonderful exciting weekend of art, taking home beautiful hand pulled prints and leave all the mess behind !
