About this Event
FREE taster session with the Denton Rock Choir
If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
Your local Denton choir is run by vocal teacher David Bicarregui. The choir is for all ages and all the local branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local music and food festivals.
Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this David tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with him about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 19 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'If you want to smile and sing for an hour and a half, go to Rock Choir. Getting on stage is so rewarding and when your 6 year-old says how proud he is of his mummy, then it's worth every moment!' - Caroline Jopling (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
