Uxbridge Folk Club: Ian W Brown + Wickenwood Trio
A guiding light behind the success of the amazing Fisherman’s Friends, and still their manager, Ian W Brown has spent the last 20 years mostly behind the scenes in the music business. He has managed artists, co-produced films, co-written a number one single and the lead song in a West End hit, and written many songs for film and TV. From time to time he steps forward into the limelight and we are delighted to welcome him for his first visit to Uxbridge. His song lyrics are witty and intelligent with pleasant melodies, and no doubt a fund of interesting stories,Support is from Wickenwood – a popular band from Hemel who stepped in at the last minute as a replacement act for us last year – now here as a trio.
