About this Event

Join our choir in St Austell Bay for a FREE taster session

If you have ever thought 'I want to join a choir near me in St Austell?' then why not join your local Rock Choir.

Your friendly local St Austell choir is run by vocal tutor Marcus Alleyne. We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local St Austell and wider Cornwall area. We are part of the pioneering Rock Choir singing groups. We often team up with the other local Cornwall choirs to perform live in groups of 200, 800 and even 11,000 at Wembley Arena for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It's unbelievable and you can still join the choir.

Rock Choir offers the chance to sing pop, rock and Motown songs together in a comfortable, unauditioned way. There are 10+ rehearsals a term and any commitment you make will fit nicely around the main holiday times in the year. You can contact us by phone, email or directly book your FREE singing taster session at rockchoir.com/join.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives. It's been a difficult year for me - got divorced, my best friend with terminal illness passed away and I survived a tricky restructure at work, Rock Choir has often been the one really positive highlight in my week - thank you!' - Sue (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is
