St Mary's annual Silent Film Extravaganza returns with the classic comedy 'Go West' by Buster Keaton and live music accompaniment improvised by virtuoso Organist Donald Mackenzie using our superb, historic 1875 instrument for a fantastic evening of entertainment. Also includes a short film 'Yukon Jake'. Interval Bar and Prize Raffle, doors open 6.15 pm for 7pm start. Tickets £16 under 18 free. Tickets also from Hitchin Information office. Go West is a 1925 American silent Western comedy film directed by and starring Buster Keaton. Keaton portrays Friendless, who travels west to try to make his fortune. Once there, he tries his hand at bronco-busting, cattle wrangling and dairy farming, eventually forming a bond with a cow named Brown Eyes.
