Join our choir in Braintree for a FREE taster session

Are you looking to learn to sing?

Your friendly local Braintree choir is run by singing teacher Lee Birnie. People who have already joined the choir, who hail from Braintree and further afield in Essex come from all walks of life and most had no singing experience or ever thought their singing journey would ever take them on TV or radio (not compulsory :-) ). Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from 'not sure' to 'performance ready'. The songs are uniquely arranged in a way that helped Rock Choir originally establish the simple high/middle and optional low voice approach to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places.

Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at the O2 arena (which we've done!), there's a place for you in the Braintree Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Braintree choir members recommend their friends!

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir is a great experience of great music, friendship and for me personally has been a confidence booster.' - John (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
