Derby Theatre in collaboration with care-experienced young people present
Culture Cares Conference 2025
How arts and culture are making a positive impact and creating pathways in the lives of care-experienced young people.
We invite artists, policy makers, care sector workers, arts professionals and educationalists to join us for our third Culture Cares Conference, an incredibly insightful event bringing the cultural and care sectors together for lively conversations, presentations and workshops.
For 2025, we are delighted to welcome Olympian, Fatima Whitbread MBE as our guest speaker.
Co-produced by care-experienced young people, this nationally significant event enables delegates to:
Extend and update their practice through examples of inspirational work
Join practitioners and speakers to explore what is making a positive impact on the lives of young people in care and care leavers
Hear from young people themselves who will be sharing their thoughts and questions with delegates
Gain an invaluable insight into the lives of young people in care through an inspiring performance that has been co-created with them.
