Middleton Cheney Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Large village with C13 church (open) with renowned pre-Raphaelite stained glass. Eight open gardens with a variety of sizes, styles and maturity. Of the smaller gardens, one modern garden contrasts formal features with colour-filled borders and exotic plants, another with flowing curves feels restrained and serene. A mature small front and back garden is planted profusely with a feel of an intimate haven. A new-build garden provides a peaceful setting whilst inc many features - rockery, topiary, pond with waterfall, borders. A stately garden inc a formal terrace surrounded by hedges and fig trees with steps down to secluded lower space and small vegetable garden.
