Rothbury - Open Garden for NGS
Set on slopes of Malvern Hills, acre plant-lovers' garden surrounding Arts & Crafts house (not open), created by owners since 1999. Dense planting with herbaceous borders, rockery, pond, small orchard. Siberian irises in May; magnificent Eucryphia glutinosa in July; Agapanthus in August. A series of hand-excavated terraces accessed by sloping paths and steps. Views and seats.
