Hounslow Symphony Orchestra presents a one-off evening of Classical music and fun in West London with a summer Proms-style concert on 5th July at 7pm.
The Proms is a series of concerts from July to September at London’s Royal Albert Hall which culminates in ‘The Last Night of the Proms’ , a “celebration of British music and tradition”. Whether you're a seasoned classical music aficionado or a newcomer to Classical music, HSO would like to create a taste of this iconic event in our local community with the opportunity to listen to well-known classical music and join forces with the orchestra by singing along.
Highlights will include Rule, Britannia!, Land of Hope and Glory, and Jerusalem, and we strongly encourage enthusiastic audience participation in the form of singing, jigging and flag-waving. (Flags will be provided!)
The Proms was originally created to bring music to a wider audience. Allow HSO to bring the joy and fun of Classical music to you on 5th July at 7PM, St Mary’s Church, Osterley. Tickets are now on sale.
