Explore the creatures living in the riverbed, use our ID charts to identify them by counting their legs, tails and gills, can you spot a predator This is an outdoor event so come dressed for the weather

All children must be accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian, with at least one adult per two children.

This event is part of the very first Herts Rivers Week - a celebration of our globally rare and beautiful chalk rivers. Through a series of walks, talks, and family-friendly events, you can learn about the wildlife chalk rivers support, the challenges they face, and simple ways you can help to protect them.
