Wing Song will be hosting a Country Music Night on Thursday 5 June at Lakenheath Methodist Church. The concert is in aid of Guide Dogs and will feature the duo, their supporting band, guest musicians and two Guide Dogs with their foster carer Denise Smith; who will be giving a short talk.
Wing Song was formed in 2019 by Linda Spencer and Sue Crowe. Neither are strangers to the music industry. Linda has worked with B J Cole, recording the back catalogue for Interworld Music Publishing and Sue has supported artists including Kenny Ball, the Wurzels and Sounds of The Platters. Both Linda and Sue sing lead and harmonise and Sue is a competent keyboard player, guitarist and song writer.
Guests include singer songwriter and performer S-Jay, Bert Woodhead who recently played bass on Wing Song’s recent release ‘Song In My Head’. Brilliant violinist Vee; who recently formed a duo with Pete Theobald and local country singer Luke Spraggins.
