Our programme includes the rousing ‘Songs of the Fleet’ by Stanford, and the lively ‘Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo’ by Horovitz & Flanders, as well as several shorter pieces by Parry, Ireland and MacMillan on a similar theme. We will be accompanied by pianist Emelia Noack-Wilkinson and bass soloist Geoff Clapham, conducted by our musical director Hugh Beckwith.
We will be making a cash collection for ‘The River Thames Boat Project’ which provides therapeutic and educational boat trips for local community groups, and especially for those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, isolated at home or living with disabilities.
