‘How Can We Prevent Future Wars’ is a group exhibition at Kensington Central Library in London that brings together winning and shortlisted artwork from Never Such Innocence’s annual international competition. The work provides a platform for children and young people to express their perspectives on conflict. It seeks to empower them to analyse the realities of conflict, learn from history, and share their insights, influencing global decision-makers.
The art exhibition, open to the public, will showcase 25 impactful pieces of artwork from children and young adults aged 9-18. Through art, the charity will draw attention to different themes of historic and current conflict, including education, peaceful protest, collaboration, and friendship. This year, the charity received entries from 83 countries for its international competition. The exhibition will feature children’s art from Australia, China, England, Germany, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, South Korea, Ukraine, and the United States.
