Summer on Stage at Victoria Theatre: David Gibb’s Family Jukebox
Join David on a musical journey through his hilarious and often surreal imagination, where sunflowers dance and sing, teddy bears dance the night away at the disco, and you never know when you might find a dragon in your bedroom!
David’s songwriting draws from a wide range of musical influences, deftly blending folk, jazz, reggae and rock and roll, always with an emphasis on quality and musicianship reminiscent of the classics. Guaranteed to have both parents and children singing along in no time, this is music that the whole family can enjoy together.
Family Jukebox is packed full of brilliant, funny and clever songs that will have adults and children alike engaged and enthralled. The show is entirely built around live music, showcasing David’s talent on the electric and acoustic guitar.
This show is part theatre part live concert, meaning that any guardians longing to give their little ones their very first gig experience need look no further!
The stage is set with microphone stands, amplifiers and an array of instruments. Children are able to get up close to the action and enjoy seeing instruments being played only a few feet away.

This Summer, join us behind the curtains for the return of our Summer on Stage family festival! Ticketholders will be seated on our stage, close to, and sometimes part of the action in these unique and fun-packed family events. The Victoria Theatre Summer on Stage events take place on Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, Friday 29th and Saturday 30th August
