Funny Though
Funny Though is a genre-blurring solo show that lifts the curtain on the true cost of being funny. This Edinburgh Fringe debut comes from Clare Noy, an actress and the queen of comic falls from The Play That Goes Wrong and Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Much like her character, Noy is also a stand-up comic just trying to get by. It explores a world where content is king and burnout is standard, where artists face relentless pressure to sacrifice their wellbeing for likes and laughs just to stay relevant. Audiences can expect 60 minutes of chaotic, confessional dramedy — a reckless escalation of bad choices, all for entertainment.
