Messy Museum Mornings: Fabulous fossils

Make a cast fossil using clay and foil. Carve a dino footprint or press a small plastic figure of an insect or dinosaur into the clay to make an indentation and then pour in Plaster of Paris and leave to set.
While waiting, why not visit room 1 to see fossils of sea creatures and plants from the Age of the Dinosaurs and complete the free museum adventurer Dig It! trail.
Please dress for mess, although disposable aprons will be available. You are however welcome to bring your own. Last entry for the craft activity is 12.45
