One of Norfolk's premier choirs for men share the stage with a visiting choir from the West Midlands for what promises to be a splendid concert of song.
'Phoenix and Friends' pairs the local Norwich Phoenix Male Voice Choir with the Gentlemen Songsters from near Wolverhampton, so with two men's choirs on offer, this concert will suit all lovers of male voice choral song. The opportunity is also there for those who are not used to 4-part harmony singing in the style of the renowned male choirs to come along and see if it is for them!
The singing men of both Phoenix and the Gentlemen Songsters will each present some of their favourite pieces before joining together to offer massed finales of all 50 voices.
Admission to the concert is £10. Tickets are now available from Phoenix's online Box Office at:
NorwichPhoenixMVC.org/tix and admission on the night from 7.00pm subject to
capacity, with all major debit and credit cards accepted at the door.
Refreshments will be
available during the concert interval and, as is usual on Phoenix Concert Nights, there will be fundraising by way of a raffle and a retiring bucket collection to support the choir's Charity of the Year, which for 2025 is Nelson's Journey, and all proceeds will be donated to their work.
Both choirs hope you will be able to join them for a special evening of male voice song.
