After a year of scratch events and programming across London, we’re very pleased to be returning to the McQueens Theatre for FIRESIDE STORIES.
Join us for an evening of new and donated scenes from celebrated playwrights, live music from Stoke Stage alumni, snappy comedy, and poetry from...YOU! This event will feature our first poetry open mic.
The theme for the open mic is: Stories We Tell After Dark. From awkward discussions at the family dinner, to intimate confessions, what are the truths that only seem to come out once the sun gets low
This special scratch cabaret event is made possible through the generous artistic support of playwright Simon Stephens. Ticket sales will go toward Collage Voice, a youth arts charity based at McQueens Theatre that supports young people on their way to drama school, screen, and stage.
