Clarks Village is set to host its first custom-built mini-golf course this summer.
With nine holes, the Art & Putt pop-up is a striking and standout attraction offering a fun, immersive experience for all at the Somerset shopping outlet.
Opening for the summer holidays, the mini-golf course is inspired by influential artists from the 20th and 21st centuries - from the vibrant pop-art of Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s Soup Cans to the surrealist landscapes by Salvador Dali.
Each hole will present a unique golfing challenge alongside engaging information about each artist’s work and legacy, taking guests on a playful journey through art history.
The creative mini-golf course will feature the following nine artists:
• Jean-Michel Basquiat
• Salvador Dalí
• Keith Haring
• David Hockney
• Frida Kahlo
• Jeff Koons
• Yayoi Kusama
• Bridget Riley
• Andy Warhol
Art & Putt at Clarks Village will open from Saturday 19th July until Sunday 31st August during outlet opening hours. It will be located on the lawn of the Alfred Gillett Trust, with a dedicated entrance from the outlet’s Restaurant Terrace.
The unique pop-up golf course will take around 45 minutes to complete with tickets costing £8 per person. All sessions are available on the day from the Art & Putt ticket booth, with no advance booking necessary.
Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, commented: “We’re all about creating memorable moments at Clarks Village whether it’s gliding across our magical Christmas ice rink, relaxing at an outdoor cinema, celebrating furry friends at our annual Pawsome Pooch dog event to now teeing off at our brand-new, wildly fun mini-golf course.
“We love surprising guests with fresh, fabulous experiences every time they visit. This spectacular addition is completely new and different, offering an exciting and experiential dimension to our offering and we can’t wait for its arrival.”
