Much ado about Nothing at St Briavels castle

Sevenoaks Shakespeare Society are delighted to be retuning to St Briavel's castle to perform the hilarious comedy Much Ado About Nothing.
This is an outdoor production so remember your chairs or blanket, picnic and sun cream (or umbrella!)
In Much Ado About Nothing, love and mischief go hand in hand. In this modern twist of the story, returning from the Euros in 2021 after Italy secured victory, the supporters are welcomed by Leonato, including the charming Claudio and quick-witted Benedick. Claudio falls deeply for Leonato’s daughter, Hero, and they plan to marry.
The story takes an unexpected twist when Don John, the jealous brother of their leader, Don Pedro, tries to ruin Claudio and Hero’s romance by spreading lies about Hero’s fidelity. Just as the wedding nears, Claudio confronts Hero with shocking accusations. Meanwhile, their friends playfully scheme to make Benedick and Beatrice realise they may care for each other more than they admit. Will Hero clear her name
