Hogarth Singers' Summer Concert - A celebration of the River Thames

Hogarth Singers’ Summer concert will be held on Saturday 5 July 2025, at 7.30pm at our usual concert venue St Michael and All Angels Church, Bath Road, Chiswick, London W4 1TT. The theme of the concert is a celebration of London’s River Thames. The programme includes the rarely performed Sweet Thames run softly, a setting of Edmund Spencer’s Prothalamion by George Dyson, a selection of songs by Samuel Barber including Sure on this shining light and To be sung on the water, and Randall Thompson’s most popular work, Alleluia.

The concert will be conducted by our Music Direct Rupert Gill, and accompanied by Andrew Wells.
