Neither little, nor solemn, nor particularly liturgical a description attributed to Napoleon III, Rossini's last major work, written after a long silence, sparkles, dances and marches. Having adapted his operatic style to the words of the mass, Rossini scored it for piano and harmonium, and called it the last of the sins of my old age.
We invite you to join us for an enchanting evening of choral music as we bring our season to a close. It's a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of classical music and connect with fellow music lovers.
Tickets available from: www.englisharts.org/products/rossini-28-jun-2025; by phone 07901 604905; or on the door. Please note the concert will start at the early time of 6pm.
