Red Admiral Youth Festival
Eccleston Brass Band - Youth Band,Red Admiral Beginner Band,Red Admiral Training Band,Stockport Schools' Brass Bands,Valley Brass Band Training Band,Leyland Band: Red Admiral Music Academic is excited to announce a new event for 2025: The Red Admiral Youth Festival.
Held on Sunday 6th July at Chorley Town Hall, this event will feature several Youth/Training bands from the region including:
Eccleston Brass Band - Youth Band
Red Admiral Beginner Band
Red Admiral Training Band
Stockport Schools' Brass Bands
Valley Brass Band Training Band
During the morning the bands will work together in a workshop led by some of our friends from Leyland Band. They'll work on a piece for the massed bands finale composed by local composer Nick Brocklehurst - Composer. In the afternoon there'll be a concert, starting at 1.30pm, where each band will perform their own set before everyone takes to the stage for our massed band finale.
It promises to be a great event which we'll build on in future years to promote grass roots banding and develop young musical talent.
