A care home in St Ives is bringing the sunshine sounds to town with a reggae-themed summer festival.
On Friday 18th July, from 12.30pm onwards, Care UK’s Field Lodge, on London Road, is inviting the local community to join residents and team members for an afternoon of vibrant music, dancing, and island-inspired fun.
Guests can savour a delicious Caribbean lunch featuring jerk chicken, rice and peas, and Jamaican patties, all while enjoying the vibrant sounds of Reggae Ray Hue.
Linda Martinez, Home Manager at Field Lodge said: “We’re so excited to be opening our doors and welcoming the local community to join us for our Reggae Festival!
“Bringing people together is at the heart of what we do at Field Lodge, and what better way to celebrate that spirit than with great music, good vibes, and a real sense of togetherness.
“We can’t wait for a day full of rhythm, laughter and connection – and we’re hoping the sun will be dancing along with us too!”
