Join our choir in Bury St Edmunds for a FREE taster session

Do you want to find a choir near you?

The Bury St Edmunds Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Lee Birnie. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Lee. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Arena, on top of the BT tower and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Lee tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with them about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to group singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'It's all been said already, but Rock Choir is just the best, most fun and most uplifting experience ever. The more people that join, the happier this country will be. ' - Teresa (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
