Film Tour: Wigs, Weddings, Powder and Palaces

Ever wondered where scenes of Bridgerton or The Crown were filmed in London?

Step in the shoes and onto the set of stars, and take part in an exclusive behind-the-scenes walking tour that will uncover the closely guarded secrets of filmmaking.

From Bridgerton to The Crown, Pirates of the Caribbean to Les Misérables, the Old Royal Naval College has set the stage for some of the most memorable and award-winning period dramas.   As the UK’s no.1 heritage film location, our stunning site has been at the heart of British filmmaking for 100 years. 

Whether you’re a film buff, history lover, or just curious to see where some of your favourite scenes were shot, the Old Royal Naval College offers an unforgettable experience. Step into the spotlight and experience the UK’s most filmed heritage site like never before.

Starting at the Visitor Centre, this tour for groups of up to 25, will take you through famous filming locations across the historic site, spotlighting productions from the Romance, Period Drama, and Royalty genres.  

Inspired by the elegance of Bridgerton, the tour includes a fun and interactive 15-minute class of hand fan etiquette and its secret meanings. You’ll learn how to channel your inner 18th-century aristocrat—complete with a commemorative fan to take home as a keepsake.
