Far Open at Wobage Makers Gallery: Andrew Morrison & Roy Hubbard

As part of the Far Open (Forest and Rivers) Arts Trail, Andrew Morrison & Roy Hubbard are exhibiting for the first time their collection of works that span several decades of collaboration and deep friendship at Wobage Makers Gallery.
This is the first time print artists have exhibited alongside the other makers at Wobage, and their work can be seen in the great Threshing Barn which is open for this event only.
Roy's prints are set with poems and text by Andrew, and feature some of Britains best-loved countryside birds including song-birds and ravens. There are prints and hand printed cards for sale. Both artists are present through the week to chat to visitors, who can also see the process of making as Roy has work in progress in the gallery, and may be working in the barn from time to time. Visitors are welcome to meet the artists and also the regular makers who will also be exhibiting their work in the adjacent Gallery Barn. This includes functional stoneware and earthenware pottery by Patia Davies, Jeremy Steward, and handbuilt ceramics by Petra Steward. Furniture, and kitchenwood by Ben Casson, Carved mirrors and bookends by Lynn Hodgson, willow baskets some of which is grown at Wobage, by Clyde Hoare and jewellery and cards by Clair Hodgson. Makers share the gallery duties, so there is always someone available who can talk about the work.
Visitors will be able to chat to makers, and relax in the beautiful surroundings of the barn. Wobage is just off Junction 4 of the M50 Travellers Rest junction, between Upton Bishop and the traffic lights at Old Gore. Any problems, please call.
