This 22.5 km coastal adventure begins in the vibrant town of Whitstable, known for its oysters and seaside charm, and follows the shoreline east to Birchington-on-Sea. Expect sea breezes, beachside cafés, and scenic views the whole way.
The route is mostly flat, on paved or compacted paths — perfect for a relaxed full-day walk. Halfway, we stop in Herne Bay for lunch and (optional!) a refreshing dip in the sea. The final stretch winds past the historic Reculver Towers before finishing at Minnis Bay with a celebratory drink at the beachfront bar.
