Join our choir in Braintree for a FREE taster session

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

The Braintree Rock Choir is led by local musician Lee Birnie. Over the past few years Rock Choir has entered British people's hearts with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and commitment to community singing in towns like Braintree. With performances at prestigious national venues such as Eurodisney and sporting events such as Sport Relief, you too can have the opportunity to be a singing star!

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Lee tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with them about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to group singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'I looked for years for somewhere to sing with others, but never found a group that sang a wide range of songs that you  looked forward to singing with a smile on your face and a swing in the hips. Rock Choir arrived and filled that void, I'm still smiling.' - Isabel (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
