If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
Your local West Malling choir is run by Kent based musician Paul Gostling. The choir is for all ages and all the local Kent branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local Kent music and food festivals.
If you find yourself racing through the week with no time for yourself, or struggling to meet new people in West Malling, then joining your local West Malling choir could be just what you need. With our unique, no-pressure approach to teaching and fun, uplifting arrangements of your favorite hit songs Paul will guide you through your weekly dose of music, fun and laughter.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has given me a new dimension in life - I joined after my dad died as I knew I needed something new to focus on. I come down to choir on the train from home and in the winter waiting around at a freezing station is not very appealing when its lovely and warm at home, but I never want to miss a session no matter how tired, cold or grumpy I feel. When my husband picks me up he always says the same thing - I am always bubbly and happy and looking forward to the next week.' - Liz (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
