Big Shakeout is Alpkit’s adventure festival in the Peak District
Big Shakeout is Alpkit’s end of summer celebration, held in the heart of the Peak District. Think mini festival meets outdoor adventure, where around 1,000 people gather for a weekend of inspiration, action and fun.
Whether you’re keen to build new outdoor skills, explore beautiful landscapes, or kick back and enjoy live music and inspirational talks, there’s something for everyone. Expect thrilling tales from real-life adventurers, incredible food, and craft beer that rivals the scenery.
Since its launch in 2009, it’s become Alpkit’s favourite weekend of the year. Even better, Big Shakeout supports the Alpkit Foundation: 100% of proceeds go toward grassroots projects that help more people “Go Nice Places, Do Good Things.”
