New street food festival set to launch at gunwharf quays next month
Gunwharf Quays has announced a brand-new free event for the summer, launching a Street Food Festival from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd August at the South Coast’s biggest outlet shopping destination.
The three-day event promises a weekend of flavour-packed dishes, artisanal produce and live music performances, all set against the backdrop of Portsmouth Harbour.
Traders from the region will include Riddle & Finn’s Oysters from Brighton, Southampton-based sushi specialists Woosabi, and Portsmouth’s FISH, known for their lobster rolls.
From further afield, sweet treats will be available from Waffle Wands and Sweet n Delish, alongside award-winning Indian street food from Oh Babu, Mexican delights from Nopalito, and many more.
As well as sampling the street food on offer, guests can enjoy a day out at Gunwharf Quays, with over 90 stores, a 14-screen multiplex cinema, bowling alley, art gallery and a range of waterfront bars.

The event will be open on The Plaza from 12pm-9pm on Friday and Saturday then 12pm-6pm on Sunday. Entry to the festival is free, with food and drink available to purchase.
