This course for young people aims to provide a comprehensive set of 2D fine art skills which will provide an insight into the methods and practices of the artist.
The course is taught by an experienced and practising artist in her own studio. The studio is set within a community artists led studio complex in New Cross. The Lewisham Arthouse also has a gallery which the children will be able to enjoy and experience new and exciting art.
The course follows although having a set programme, encourages the child to bring their own ideas to the class.
All welcome and no experience needed. The child needs to be provided with theory own sketch book and basic materials such as graphite pencils, coloured pencils and basic water-based paint or pencil. Other materials are provided as and when.
The class has very limited space and can accommodate a maximum of 5 children.
Individual needs are supported. If the child needs specialist support please ask on application.
