Minister for the Labour Party and The Liberals are in the safe hands of Jeremy Thorpe.
Meanwhile, in the sleepy seaside resort of Stoneyfield-on-Sea, all is far from well. As the deckchairs are opened in the midst of summer heat, an infidelity is uncovered, a confirmed gambler must pay his debt on pain of death and the Punch and Judy man’s temper boils over at a young audience member in front of a large group of holiday makers. Just beyond the dazzling clarity of the azure blue skies, dark clouds of mystery and murder are about to rain down on this otherwise already not vey tranquil scene. Now in our 32nd year at the Bluebell, you will witness the events which lead up to and include a dastardly murder. Take your seat on the Golden Arrow, where detective packs, clues and your three-course meal await you. During your journey through the beautiful Sussex countryside aboard this iconic steam train, amid the spleandour of your traditional period carriage, you will have two opportunities to cross-examine the characters, sift through the clues and check out the police/pathology information. Remember to keep a lookout for those tricky red herrings and that the murderer will deliberately lie to protect themselves. Towards the end of your journey complete your answer form before returning to the murder room to discover if you've correctly solved the crime. Bottle of fizzy for winning team!
