Story Street X The LEGO Group - now open!
This summer, Discover’s Children’s Forum have been working with the LEGO® Group to co-create a truly spectacular new play street, co-created with a group of local children via Discover’s Children’s Forum.
Taking over a disused side-street alongside Discover’s garden in Stratford, East London, Story Street will be filled with creativity, invitations to play and building with LEGO® bricks. Join us for building, painting, cardboard sculpting, dress-up play, performance and lots of opportunities to create and listen to stories.
Plus, look out for pop-up events on the street every day. You might have a chance to take part in yoga storytelling, messy sensory fun, problem-solving play, or special guest illustrator draw-alongs. Perhaps you’ll embark on an interactive storytelling adventure or catch our travelling Story Cart. Maybe you’ll join together with other builders to make one BIG world of stories in a community build.
Check the chalkboard at our front desk on arrival for a timetable of the day’s activities. Story Street is in partnership with the LEGO Group and kindly supported by the LEGO Foundation. It will be free to access with a Discover Entry ticket between Saturday 2 August – Sunday 31 August 2025. Find out more about visiting Story Street.
