With Dawn Ramsay
Taking place over 2 consecutive mornings, this fun, eco-friendly printing workshop uses the natural dyes held in everyday plants to make prints. Dawn will share her expertise and participants will get to have a go at creating the varied and beautiful effects that come from using particular plants and leaves.
The first morning will cover a method of printing with plants onto paper, and then on day two the prints are revealed and participants will have the chance to bind them into a book.
Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. Materials are provided, but those taking part will be encouraged to collect and bring along leaves and foliage to use and share for printmaking. The arts centre will contact all participants in advance with some suggestions for good plants to bring.
There will be a break in the middle of the session in the QPAC coffee bar. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.
