The Shire Workshops, Wilbarston LE16 8FE
Come along to this relaxed Saturday afternoon class to learn to make beaded wire jewellery, with lots of tips and tricks to help you - no experience necessary!
Jewellery is small, light and perfect for posting, given as a stocking filler, or as a gift for a friend or family member.
You will practise using chain nose pliers, cutters and loopers to create wire shapes. You will then use these shapes to get creative with your own earrings, pendants, and bracelet components with a selection of colourful beads. Please note that necklace chain is not included.
As well as making your own jewellery, your wirework skills will enable you to take existing jewellery to reform into new pieces (harvesting bits and pieces from charity shops is great fun!), and maybe even repair jewellery that needs some tlc.
All materials provided. Allergen notice: We will be using silver-coated copper wire.
Free parking on site. This is an adult craft session, accompanied younger learners age 10+ welcome.
