As part of the Summer Programme at Denby Pottery Visitor Centre, The Makers’ Market returns on Sunday, 24th August open from 11am-4pm, with Denby Pottery Village itself open from 10am-4pm.
The Maker’s Market is proving a huge success, originally established in the North-West of England the concept is being warmly welcomed by visitors to Denby Pottery Village.
Lots of your favourite great stalls are returning with new vendors to meet too. There will be food stands with savoury hot and cold tasty treats and scrumptious cakes, brownies and stuffed cookies and lots more. There will be beautiful artwork, jewellery, cards and hair accessories, body scrubs and hand-crafted candles, artisan rum, plus live music to welcome visitors provided by Victoria May.
Whilst supporting local craftspeople you’ll discover unique, handcrafted treasures you won’t find anywhere else. In the Denby Pottery Village Farm Shop there will be tastings taking place and here you will find the popular Greedy Pig Butchers and Deli and the Farm Shop Café & Takeaway. Breakfast and home cooked lunches are available in the Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro.
The Garden Stall can offer advice on what plants can withstand the summer drought and there’s a well-stocked Greeting Card and Gift Shop. The Denby Koi Carp love to see visitors and being feed their special fish food; browse in the biggest Denby Shop in the country and Denby’s Cookshop recently named as a finalist in the National Excellence in Housewares Awards. This is an event for the whole family, a fantastic day out with great food and drink with live music.
