Hills, Valleys & Vistas – A Scenic Darent Valley Hike from Otford
A quick intro
Join us on Sunday 14th September for a scenic circular hike through one of Kent’s most picturesque valleys. Starting and finishing at Otford Station, this 14.8 km loop climbs out of the village to reveal stunning views, rolling hills, and the wooded serenity of the Darent Valley.
We’ll pass through ? Shoreham, a charming village nestled beside the River Darent, and follow the ? Darenth Way, a peaceful riverside trail flanked by orchards, meadows, and chalky hills.
This route includes some hills and narrower woodland paths, offering a bit more challenge — but you’ll be rewarded with beautiful vistas and plenty of varied terrain.
