Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the last Friday of each month (Jan-Nov) at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: informal music events in the community, with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music.
August’s programme is inspired by trees and forests, with music by Dvorak (Silent Woods), Sibelius (Birch), Massenet (Lime Trees), and the beautiful folk-song idyll ‘The Banks of Green Willow’ by George Butterworth.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by pay-what-you-feel donation. An RSVP via our website www.trioparadis.com is very much appreciated though not essential. Turn up early to be sure of a table, as these concerts are popular…You can find out more at www.trioparadis.com
