The UK’s leading vintage event, The Classic Car Boot Sale, will return to King’s Cross on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September 2025, marking a decade of vintage celebrations at the much-loved London destination. This exciting milestone reflects both the transformation of King’s Cross into a dynamic cultural hub and the growing mainstream embrace of preloved clothing, as a new generation of enthusiasts discover the creativity and joy of thrifted shopping.
Spanning three iconic public spaces — Granary Square, Lewis Cubitt Square and Coal Drops Yard — this exciting two-day celebration will feature over 100 hand-picked vintage traders, stunning heritage vehicles, live DJs, street food and a focus on sustainable fashion and reuse culture.
This year’s classic car event honours the iconic Ford Transit Van, the unsung hero of British industry and pop culture. From band tour buses to trusted workhorses for countless trades, this legendary panel van takes centre stage in a nostalgic display celebrating its cinematic appearances and cultural legacy.In a first for the event, this year will see visitors will have the rare opportunity to browse and purchase exquisite costumes and accessories from the Royal Opera House archives, each with its own unique story from stage to spotlight.
This is the capital’s largest public classic car and fashion event with great people-watching opportunities as visitors arrive in their best threads from their favourite decades to shop from over 100 carefully curated vintage and designer second hand sellers.
Since its debut at King’s Cross in 2015, the event has welcomed a stylish crowd including Kevin Rowland (Dexys Midnight Runners), Paloma Faith, Martin Freeman, and even Rocco Ritchie, as it helped bring vintage into the mainstream for conscious consumers.
