Trio Paradis Café Concert: The Music of Trees

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: informal feel-good music events with refreshments available in the abbey café before and after the concert, where you can meet friends and make new ones, and enjoy live music, often with the addition of a poem.

September’s programme is inspired by trees and forests, with music by Dvorak (Silent Woods), Sibelius (Birch and Spruce), Massenet (Lime Trees), and the beautiful folk-song idyll ‘The Banks of Green Willow’ by George Butterworth.

Concerts last c45m and entrance is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential.
