Trio Paradis Café Concert: Bohemian Rhapsodies
Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Friday lunchtime of each month (Feb-Dec) at 3pm at Warminster Civic Centre: informal concerts with a pop-up café from c2.30pm where you can meet friends for a chat before the concert.
This month’s music is inspired by the traditional travelling people of Eastern Europe, with pieces including ‘Songs My Mother Taught Me’ by Dvorák, Haydn’s Gypsy Rondo, and various Dumkas and other dances.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance (or rather, exit!) is by donation, with a retiring collection. Refreshments - tea, coffee & delicious home-made cakes - on sale. There's no need to book, though an RVSP via our website is appreciated…turn up early for best choice of table.
