St Nicolas Church, Great Bookham
Heritage Open Day: Our Grade I listed church dating from the 11th century, with its various additions and alterations, will be open for visiting throughout Heritage Week with some extra displays We hope to provide some interesting insights into the history of the church and its associations, including those with Jane Austen and her family in this the 250th anniversary year of her birth. We also hope to put on a special display about our stained glass windows and about the church's associations with the architect Butterfield which were researched during a recent faculty application
