Skipton's Historic High Street

Heritage Open Day: Guided tour of important buildings in Skipton's High Street led by a conservation officer. Sue Wrathmell of Skipton Civic Society is a conservation officer who has been researching Skipton's High Street for a Heritage Action Zone project to draw up local listings. As in many market towns, Skipton High Street has a variety of buildings of different ages and quality. Sue will guide you around to look at interesting features of some buildings on the street.
